Kingwood Homes is a Canadian real estate developer and builder based in Mississauga, specializing in mid-ranged homes with an environmental, community based approach. The task at hand was a complete refresh of their brand identity and online presence.

The new logomark retains much of the character and colour palette of the original, but typographic balance and scalability has been carefully reworked. Building around the rectangular frame and the unique elongated /K that has been integral to the brand personality over the years, the new graphic system aims to complement and reflect Kingwood Homes' holistic approach for quality, detail, and environmental integration in building homes.
As a builder, Kingwood Homes has a lack of any branded product or environment apart from their sales centres and head office. This leaves the online experience to assume a major role in establishing the brand presence and personality for much of their audience today. The website was built with this in mind, aiming to be a heavily visual, memorable experience with editorial inspired layouts.
Most real estate businesses have separate standalone community websites with different aesthetics, interfaces, and user experiences. We've decided to unite all of Kingwood Homes' community pages under the corporate website. These pages have all been designed into the same modular framework and ordered sections of content, allowing users an intuitive and consistent experience when browsing any Kingwood community. The result is a shift in emphasis towards imagery and specs of the homes, the neighbourhoods they exist in, and most importantly, the brand as a whole.
